Done...

Now Im done with this one.. 

I did a little change to the flower and finally Im happy with it.

 So much colors in there adding layers by layers, doodling a little and adding bright colors here and there to make it more happy :)

As you can see then Im painting over my angel image, I was not happy with my angel but loved the lower part of the painting so now I have been adding layer by layer, warm color and then cold again and again so my next step is to find out what kind of motive im going to add up there....

I kind of like this one..

This one is the third one Im working on in Floras class. 

I have been struggling with this one, turning it upside down again and again and now it is not even looking like that, the flower in the middle is bothering me.

I dont know how it will end, Im happy with everything but the flower.

I find it very difficult to do something so new to me but I love the challenge.

What do you think of it?

Nothing is working right....

Second one for Flora Bowleys class, a big one.

I have been working on this for a long time.

I love the lover part but nothing is working right with the other part.

I have been adding layer by layer, color over color, trying to fix it but something is wrong... everything except the face, Im going to work on that in the end.

What do you think?

A new painting..

This is my new painting, the first one taking Flora Bowley´s class.

Im not sure if Im done but I like it so far..

Im working on 4 big canvas having so much fun spraying and splashing.

My class with Flora Bowley

I have started on Flora Bowleys 5 weeks online class

I did not know what to expect but so far in week two Im very happy but little confused as  I dont know where this will take me

We have been adding layer after layer on a big canvas, painting, spraying, painting with fingers, rubbing, stamping and just everything

Every day is a new thing to do and two days we paint, but of cours we are painting all week long, adding little more here and there

One day we should draw in many ways like with music, blind, without lifting our pens and I was so glad after drawing my left hand drawing

I did draw one more Lovely Lady and as you can see she came out almost perfect...

I have never before been drawing with my left hand so I think this is pretty good :)

One day we draw a mandala, starting with a one point, that was fun

I wanted to color mine and I think she came out beautiful

Here Ill show you the process of 3 big canvas im working on far away from finished.. 

So there is a mess in my garage now, I love using the spray bottle

but my dog is not so happy when I start spraying as he is always laying next to me while Im painting :)

My angel cross...

As I have been collecting crosses for few years I have been wanting to make one by my self so I did start drawing one in my sketch book. 

I did draw a bigger one and colored with my neocolor, now I had decided the shape of my angel cross.

When I had decided the shape I went out to buy the material, a wooden piece.
I went around trying to get it cut for me but without a result so I had to do it my self.
That was not a problem, I did use one of the saws in my school.

After sawing my cross I did start drawing on my pice of wood cross. 
It was not difficult as I had thought about this for a long time and 
knew how I was going to have my angel cross. 
After drawing I did start painting, gluing, adding some modeling paste 
and tissue paper and painting more.

Is she not adorable??

I was so happy with the result, would love to make some more of them.
Maybe I will one day, Im almost sure I could sell them... not a bad idea :)

There my angel cross is among my other crosses, does not look bad..

My January 2013

This is a crazy January... 

First I had my birthday, that day went well.

Had a visit form one of my systers and we had something good to eat while talking.

I did start Life Book 2013... that was a must..

A great thing happend, I got Featuring Magazine in my hands..

This is a mixed media magazine, printed in Holland, a international magazine.

I was invited to have one of my Ladies on the back... 

Her you can see her, the first in the 5 row to the left, one inch 

Bad thing happend to... I had a car accident. Driving home and the car that came on the other side of the road lose one of his tire and the tire came strait to my car and destroyed it, my best car ever..

I had to get lift home, my car was taken away by some guys on a truck to a workshop..

 But before I lost my car I had been shopping canvas for Flora Bowleys class starting now on monday.. I cant wait... Ill post a lot of pictures from that class as soon as I have something to show... I have not been working on an abstract before... exciting.

And this girls I have been finishing one after another, still have two more to finish..

And one more thing.... on monday I did start knitting online.... you know what I mean.. every day I get a new recipe

And I have to tell you one more thing.... in the beginning of January I did have my visitor nr. 10.000

So this has been a busy January as you can see..

True intentions

This is project no. 3 at the Life Book.

I had a big problem with this one, not the painting but finding out what to do.. trying to understand I did this one. I did use a photo of my daughter, made her a beautiful dress but she thinks I made her look fat..... I have been glueing, removing, panting, coloring and stamping, 8 hours work, now Im going to stop..

Im quite happy with my work, love the colors and I love the dress 

I made for my daughter using scrapbooks paper I had :)

My Celebration & Journey, Life Book 2013

As you maybe know, then I signed up for Life Book 2013.

Could not think of a year without Life Book and all the lovely people there.

Here is my second project, week 1, teacher Tamara Laporte.

Great lesson..

On my Celebration & Journey I will be sailing on a Houseboat on the beautiful backwaters of Kerala, India. 

I had to add the little Indian girl there, she was so lovely showing me her newly decorated hands 

once I met her on the Fort Kochi beach in Kerala. 

Ill ask her to carry my blessing and goal ballons..

Life Book 2013

I did start this blog one year ago as I was starting a one year class, Life Book, hosted by wonderful Tamara Laporte at her Willowing. 

This year has gone so fast and I cant tell you how much I have learned this year.

20 something teachers always something new every other week and sometimes every week.

I was not going to sign up again this year but Im so glad I did. There has already been 3 classes and all the assignment are so super cool that I would not have missed learning how to make them.

This first assignment was to create The Fairy Mother Art and as I love to add birds to my painting I had to add few... And as we are from all over the world taking this class I thought it was a brilliant idea to make her stand on the global..

Now you just have to visit my blog every other week to see what we will be creating there..

I am the lucky one...

Some days when nothing is working as it should then Im getting a letter from such a nice lady inviting my to take her class for free.... 

Im not going to tell you what kind of class, you have to wait until March...

It is going to bee so cool taking her class, doing something new but something that interest me very much.

To day I finally had time to paint a little. 

Christmas is over and I did not paint at all or nearly.. 

The time did fly away from me and suddenly I was back in school teaching this morning. 

I had one drawing laying on my desk at school, I did start doodle a little and then I took it with me home and did not stop until I was finished.. This is just a little angel with two beautiful birds.. 

I love adding birds to my paintings :)

Happy new year.. and a new Lovely Lady..

Im starting the new year with a few new Lovely Ladies.

Using my new ink and some colors I did order from some lovely shop online.

The fun with the ink is that it comes through the acryl so the white colors so look like pink after few layers..

To day is my birthday... Yea.... 

Happy birthday to meeee....

My art for sale in a little gift shop in my hometown..

Just before Christmas I was brave enough to take my paintings to a little and sweet gift shop here in my hometown Keflavík. 

The owner was so nice and told me to bring everything I had.

So I went back home and packed in 3 big bags and brought it to her.

Next time I stopped by my painting were all over the shop looking so great.

It made my heart take an extra jump seeing all My Lovely Ladies on the walls and shelfs.

And my books and cards and bookmarks and Guardian Angels paintings as well.

Dont you think it looks great?

Im proud of my self to day, I have been working so hard making my dream come true and Im almost there. Now I just have to keep on working on my goals. 

The year 2013 is going to be the year..

Lady in blue..

How can one be so bussy before Christmas??

I have been counting the days for the school to end this year and finally I having my Christmas holidays..

But then this stupid Christmas preparation starts.. Shopping, shopping and do some more shopping... 

I dont have the time I thought I would have to paint and create..

but today I sat down trying to finish my painting after Ady Almanza´s class for the 

Life Book. 

My scanner is not good enough because you can not see all the glitter on her wings and eyelashes, she is much more colorful when I look at her here on my desk.

But anyhow I did finish a painting and Im quite happy with the resulte.

A new style after Ady Almanza class..

Yesterday I did start a painting after watching Ady Almanza class on Life Book.

I dont know why I did not do it before because when I did start I just keept on coloring. 

Im adding a little doodling in the wings, I love doodling. 

Now I have to start painting and working on the background.

I love Life Book, always new teachers and always new style.

Still thinking about Life Book 2013.... sign in or not... 

Think Ill have to finish Flore Bowleys class first, then sign in to the Life Book..

The most beautiful Ornaments I have made..

This is my Babuska, Loved to make her and I think she is adorable.

I did buy a big one, gessoed it and started painting.

Im so happy with the result, might make another Lovely Lady Ornament.

As Im posting this to PPF I have to show you my other two I did make in this class.

New Ornament for Christmas

To day I made a new Ornament from Christy Tomlinson online class 

2012 Twelve Artsy Ornament of Christmas

This time it was wonderful Juliette Crane that was the teacher, I kind of like this one, going to try to make more and do them different way.

Finally I had time to create. 

After having a flue for over two weeks I could sit down and work a little with the Christmas class Im taking from Christi Tomlinson.

The first thing was to make a beautiful Christmas tree.

I had a little help from my cat, he loved to play with my fabric, usually he is not aloud to stay on the dining table but sometimes I cant push him away.

The time was well over midnight and I knew if I did not finish it now I would not finish it before next weekend. So I and my cat stayed up till almost 4 o´clock in the morning.

Here I have my tree ready made, think it looks good beside my angel. I might make another smaller tree with the same fabric so I have two standing together or maybe three.

Happy PPF girls, sorry I dont have any painting to show this week, hopefully next week.

By the way, Im doing great with my product (my books and the other things Im making) Last week I did get my newest product, my little calendar.

Ill show it to you next time.

Doodling..... and doodling..

I have told you before and Im telling you again... I love to doodle.

I you have not tried you should give it a try.

 I have been having such a problem with this blog, im always getting the same.. you have used all of your 1GB.. so I have been deleting a lot of photo bot from here, from my Picasa as well as my Picasa web album but nothing is working... So now Im going to do my last try.. if not I dont know what to do..

Flora Bowleys e-class.....

Today I signed up for Flora Bowley's e- course starting in January... 
Have been wanting to take her class since this sommer when I found out about her and her beautiful way of create.

I had a little difficulty choosing a class, so many I want to take but I found it a little challenge to paint big like Im going to do at Floras course.

I did buy her book, that book is a Bible, so nice to read, so relaxing and the photos are beautiful.

 There will be 11 super great teachers and among them is my lovely Juliette Crane. I love her style, cant wait till this class startes December 4th...
