Birds

I love to paint birds.
I did one bird painting in November 2017.
It was a very colorful painting
with a lot of birds.
I really liked that painting.
It was sold in an exhibition in September 2017.

What do you think, I love them.

Have a wonderful day

That one is a big one. 100x150 cm.
I love to paint big.

Now, this is my first blog for a long, long time.
I hope I can add in here everything arty I have been doing since I wrote the last blog post.

In September 2017 I painted a few fish paintings.
I started to paint a black background and then used white chalk to draw.
After painting, I washed the paintings a few times and then it was time to doddle.
I was very happy with the results.

So what do you think?

Thank you for visiting my blog and don't feel shy to leave a comment.

Have a nice day

I did paint a painting that I was happy with :)

I had to give last Life Book class another try, not happy with the first one I made.
So I started making background with my ink.
Then it was to draw a Mandala, that was easy as I love Mandala making.
After the Mandala was ready painted I did start with the girl holding the Mandala.
Then it was to paint and use some pens for the outline. Some ink here and there.
Litle paint here and there, some more lines and little paint on the Mandala.

Dont you think she is ok? I think so, happy with the colours and happy with the Mandala. The face is ok but the hands are still to small.. Have to practice on hands :)

Have a great Sunday

My computer broke down so I have been unable to write and add photos to my blog.
Today I have a computer so Im going to write a little.

Last time I wrote about my Mandala project.
Making one Mandala every day for 100 days.
I was about to give up when I had make 10 but I always made one more and one more and today Im making Mandala nr. 66 I think.. on the 66th day from new years day..

I love making Mandala, I love to draw and I love to paint Mandala.
Now I have made few on canvas and I think they all look beautiful.

Those two paintings I made for an exhibition started today in Reykjavík. I think we are about 40 having painting there together. All very different.
I did not go for the opening, was busy at home painting.
Ill go some day.

I love to paint big. I thought I was finished with this one ready in frame but I saw a have forgotten to paint the nose for animal.... Have to try to make a nose without spoiling the painting :)
