This weekend was a painting weekend.

I had started this one few days ago but then lost the interest and kept it standing in my studio.

On Friday I did start again and didn't quit until finished..
And Im so happy with it.

Think this little dog is amazing, he is so much looking at me asking me to come and play just like my dog does all the time :)

Have a great week

Class with Este Macleod, Explore Color

I have never painted flowers before and I really never liked painted flowers. One day a friend told me about a class by Esty Macleod. I had never heard anything about this teacher but got excited when the first one sold out in one moment. I did sign up and after signing up I found out It was all about painting flowers and fruit, or still life painting.

It was not my favorite but I thought I had to give it a try..
Este was a new kind of teacher for me, she was teaching a very different way from the teachers I had taken classes from before. But I liked her way, liked it very much.
There was a lot for me to learn and Im still struggling.

You can see how different they are my paintings, I have the last one on my desk waiting for a time to  finish that one and I might work a little more on this one above to.

Always learning something new.

Have a great week

I did finish two more paintings to day..

This is my third painting for the Gut Art class. I really enjoyed painting this one.
As usually I did start with the background. While drying I did cut out the colors I wanted to use for her dress and wings. I found those beautiful legs in a magazine and I did cut out the wings from two different kind of papers.
Now it was time to paint her face, I did use watercolor paper and Neocolor. I did cut out some hearts and the Om.
I found this wonderful text in one of my boxes.
After gluing all peaces together I did glue my girl to the background.

This is my second week painting, just a flower I made of paper and paint, bright colors, nothing special but fun to make.

Have a beautiful week

Two new paintings from the Soul Food class :)

Trying to catch up with my Soul Food class..

Soul Food. Week 34. Teacher Patti Ballard.

I did like this lesson a lot but Im not happy with my girl... She was supposed to have her eyes closed and a small mouth but I did not like her that way so I opened her eyes and made her mouth bigger but I still think the mouth is to little.....
But I love the flowers, her dress and the background.

Soul Food week 32. Teacher Mitsi..

I allways love to see Mitsi´s classes. Love the way she creates with out rules and does not make any mistakes...
I think this one is going to one of my favorite... there is something about this one...

On my desk is one Im working on and the teacher is my favorite girl Mystele.

Have a great weekend

A new painting from the Life Book, week 33.

This week we had Mindy Lacefield as a teacher at the Life Book.
I love her style and it looked so easy when she was painting but I had to struggle for hours until I was happy with mine.

It was as always layers by layers and it was meant to be childish painting.
It looks like she is lost in the big city, trying to find someone to carry her heart with her :)
Have a wonderful weekend all of you and a happy PPF to all of you.

A Big Lovely Lady...

First of all I want to thank all of you for your nice comments here and on my page. I was going to visit all of you an leave a comment for you but I think I'm only done with half of you.
 Big ❤ ❤ ❤ to all of you :-)

I have been working on this Lovely Lady now for few days. I think I'm finished and I think I'm happy with her. Her colors are brighter, I should have waited for the daylight to take the photo.
This one has many layers and many colors. The size is 50x60 and she is painted on canvas.

As you can see I have been using all kind of colored paper around her head and then I did start painting outlines and adding colors to the Lady and the background.

A little bit here and there, painting over adding stamps and more colors.. In the end I'm happy, might add a little doddeling here and there but not sure about that.
♫♪♫♪ ♫♪  Happy PPF to you and happy weekend to the rest of you.  ♫♪♫♪♫♪
