Im painting and painting and painting......

After being inspired by Mystele in her Gut Art class I have been painting and painting.

I always get so inspired by her, love the way she paints.

I loved to make these three, so Im making three more :)

They are small or 12x18 cm and Im going to get them framed.

Im going to make some more and then find a small place to have a little exhibition..

I love to see small paintings on a small wall in a cosy coffee house...

Something very different....

When taking classes you sometimes have to do something you are not used to.. 

Yesterday I was taking a look at links for inspiration.

The artist this time was Nathaniel Mather, he is a great artist and I really enjoid going through his paintings. Then we got a link to a blog where the blogger did have a interview with Nathaniel, great interviwe. Now I cant stop painting.... all done inspired by Gut Art the class Im taking.

Hosting the class is my favorite girl Mystele, I adore her paintings.

I love this one.. Follow the wind.. 

Love the expression in her face.

This one is lovely too, she is sad waiting for someone to come home, maybe she is waiting for her love... Come home soon...

I carry my home with me

Now I have made my painting nr. 4 in my Gut Art class with Mystel.

I love watching Mystel paint and get so inspiring every time.

As usual I do start with the background.

Love to find something in my canvas that I can use to make my painting.

Now I have painted many layers with all kind of painting, pastel, gesso and just anything laying on my desk. 

I kind of like her.

Im waiting to get rubbing alcohol and after a little touch here and then I will be done with my girl that carries her home with her..

Why I paint what I paint...

Like I told you in my last post then I have been unable to paint for few weeks... had to have my leg strait and did not fit in to my studio like that, sitting in a wheel chair.

But yesterday I was able to sit for a while with my leg down so I did a little painting.

As you might know Im taking Mystele´s class Gut Art. At first I was completely lost did not know what to do but after a little help from a friend I begun to understand.

I did make a background, using Acryl, stamps, graphite, stencils, ink spray, ink, and water. I did make lines, round shapes, zikzak lines and just anything I could think of.

When dried I did turn my paper around many times trying to find out what was hiding in my background. And after a moment I had found some interesting things.

I did make the lines darker and you can see what I saw.

After I had found out what would be in my painting I did start with a white paint and then a black paint. Adding a little paint here and there.

Now I did also find a little bird in the ladies dress..

I was not to happy with  my painting, It needed a litttle more colors and I had to fix the lettering in her face.

So I did a little more painting and I start using my oil pastels that I have never used before.

So now Im done, like it a lot better like this. What do you think?

Can´t paint :(

I have not been here for a long time and I have not been painting for a long time...

The reason.... I had a operation on my leg for 3 weeks ago. 

So now I have to sit with my leg strait for so many weeks, I think Im going to die...

First 2 weeks like this photo shows.

        Then I have to be like this for 4 weeks.... 

After 6 week Ill get something new on my leg that I have to have for 6 more weeks and all 12 weeks Im not allowed to use my leg..... lucky me, I have two legs so I can jump around with the other one :)

And what to do when I cant fit with my leg in my studio.... I have to knit and crochet...

My days are long so Im lucky to have a little princes that can use the things I make.

First I did start by making me a throw I can have in my Lazy Boy...

Love the colors.

Then I made a Bauta Whits cap for my prinsess.

Then I made another cap with little cute owls, Im waiting for their eyes which will arrive on Tusday by mail :)

Then I had to make mittens with the same yarn.

And as you can see, then Im never alone :)

To morrow Im taking a new class, I hope that I can manage to sit in my studio for a  little time every day. 
I need an inspiration...
