New class... Animalitos - mini mojo workshop

Have you heard about Tracy Verdugo??

She is one of my favorite mixed media artist.
First time I heard about her was in my Life Book class 2012 or 2013.
She was a teacher there and I really enjoyed her class.

Since then I have been following her and now Im taking her mini class, she is also having online class, the big one.

This year she is traveling around the world, teaching classes and if everything will work Im going to take one of her classes, live..

Im so excited, talking to her and learning from her in person together with other amazing artist from all over the world.

In the class Im taking now, Mini Mojo we are playing with ink.
I love ink, low to watch it flow on the paper making beautiful pattern.

This was my first try, Im happy with it even though I did only have yellow ink and some Golden high flow colors.

So I went shopping.... bought me some more colors and pens... ready to try my new colors..

And look, so bright and beautiful. Love playing with my inks..

Tracy did write a book last year, I bought me a copy on Amazon

This is her book, beautiful cover and more beautiful inside.
I was reading in her book and after reading I made this little elephant.
Tracy makes the most beautiful elephants.

I did try to make my own elephant, cute but far from what I want to be able to make... practice, practice, practice...

You can join her class if you want, here is the link to her class..

Have a great weekend

Now we don't have any assignment for Mars but that is ok,
I have so many other classes Im so far behind with.

I did paint this one while practicing for the assignment. Love to use few colors in my painting.

And for my Soul Food 2015 class I did make this little Sigga Bee..

Hope you all have a great weekend

Having so much fun taking Lilla Rogers class Make art that sells

After drawing this lovely lady, coloring her in Ps I had to try to paint one...
I love this gray, red, white colors together.

I have been making or decorating plates, this one was the easy one.
Find it so crazy interesting to paint my drawings in Ps.

I made this one round but somewhere on the way i did cut my plate like this, have to find the round copy, sure I saved it somewhere.

One plate with pattern is a must do.. Love these colors.

Here I was thinking about Spoonflower competition..
This was my first drawing painted in Ps, not bad :)

Have a beautiful week

Something very different....

When taking classes you sometimes have to do something you are not used to..
Yesterday I was taking a look at links for inspiration.
The artist this time was Nathaniel Mather, he is a great artist and I really enjoid going through his paintings. Then we got a link to a blog where the blogger did have a interview with Nathaniel, great interviwe. You can read it here.. http://littlebrownrabbit.blogspot.com/2014/11/artist-interview-with-nathaniel-mather.html

And while inspired by his clipart I made these clipart painting..

Hope that you are having a great weekend

What a wonderful home made cat...

In my paper maché class on Tuesday I was working on a large bowl, I did forget my camera at home so I don't have any photos.
When waiting for the bowl to dry I made a little cat.

To day at home I did not have any paper maché so I did use a self dry clay to finish of my cat.
I think this is going to be a perfect cat for all my birds... maybe I should make a birds cage so the cat wont catch all my birds.

I was working on my christmas girl as well, I finished painting her so now I can have her hanging on my wall during christmas.  You can see my christmas girl dressed in red.
This is what I have been doing last weeks working with paper maché. The girl dressed in blue is a doll I made of fabric and paper clay.
Have a wonderful sunday.
