The most beautiful crochet doll

I did finish this beauty last week.
Now I have made 3 Lalylala dolls all beautiful
but this one is my favorite I think.
It was a little bit difficult to sew the rose on her belly after finished
but by little trick here and there I finished her.
Love this one

Just a few words..

Now it is Christmas time so Im framing some paintings I might give away to someone I love.

Last week I did a little doodling, I love to doodle, find it so relaxing.
So happy with my Mandala.

Before I made this little lady out of paper clay. And I had to make something out of her so I did paint her a dress and make her legs. To morrow Im going to paint her shoes and hang her to one of my walls to enjoy looking at her :)

A painting, a doll and a surprice from my son...

How are you to day?
I'm fine, going to have a day in my studio.. hoping to create something beautiful.

I have not been very active for some time. But I have done a little doodle here and there, like this little bird that is just a small part of a very big painting I'm working on. Ill post a photo of the whole masterpiece in June.

And I finished one more doll, my last one of this style....  now I'm going to make my own pattern... you have to wait and see how it will turn out... I'm not going to tell..

And in the end, my son did make a logo for a little park here in our home town. Yesterday we had a culture festival for children and then the Logo was shown for the first time.
My son is 17 years old and he did not tell me he was taking a part, only when they contacted him to ask him to come and receive his awards.

Have a great week

Now I have made 8 dolls and they all look gorgeous..

I have had a very good time making my dolls.
First I made 8, or I did sew 8 of them and made them ready for paint.

After sewing and filling I did start drawing.

I loved to see them come alive, one by one.

Im so happy with them, they are 30 cm high and they all have their own personality.

Hope you like what you see

I´m in love with my dolls..

As I told you before I´m taking Soul Food, a class hosted by Mystele
and two other ladies.
With them there are many other teachers, new class twice a week
and lot and lot of new things to learn.

One of the classes was with Susana Tavares where she
thought us how to make that kind of dolls.

First I made one, then another, the third oneand tonight the fourth.
On my desk I´m having 5 more that I´m going to finish soon.

As you see they don´t look alike at all, I love the one in the black and white dress, love her eyes!
Hope that you are all having a wonderful Easter and weekend.

Im working on a big, big, big canvas...

This one is so big... 150x150 cm
I have to stand on my toes to reach to the top while painting.
In june 2. Im going to be one of 26 people taking part in exhibition in Harpan,
the new concert and conference center in Reykjavík, Iceland

..... my painting is going to be on the wall in this awesome building.....
can you believe that...

I have started painting, Im going to paint using the style I learned from Flora Bowley class
and Im so sorry but Im not going to post a photo until the opening of the exhibition in beginning of June.

While my painting is drying between layers I knit... I love to knit and crochet.
I made this doll for my little princess granddaughter.

And I made another one for a friend.
Have started on a new one but that is a boy in blue colors.
Ill post a photo when finished.

And more things are happening.
I was featured in an Indian Magazine, March 2014.
The name of the Magazine is Indian Talent Magazine.
You can find me on page 34-35.

Have a beautiful weekend :)

What a wonderful home made cat...

In my paper maché class on Tuesday I was working on a large bowl, I did forget my camera at home so I don't have any photos.
When waiting for the bowl to dry I made a little cat.

To day at home I did not have any paper maché so I did use a self dry clay to finish of my cat.
I think this is going to be a perfect cat for all my birds... maybe I should make a birds cage so the cat wont catch all my birds.

I was working on my christmas girl as well, I finished painting her so now I can have her hanging on my wall during christmas.  You can see my christmas girl dressed in red.
This is what I have been doing last weeks working with paper maché. The girl dressed in blue is a doll I made of fabric and paper clay.
Have a wonderful sunday.

My doll is done and a wonderful girl bought two prints from my Etsy shop :) :)

It does not happen often but it did happen now....
Im sick, having a flue.

I hate being sick and not able to go to work, especial now when we, all the teachers and the staff are having a friend week at work and Im missing everything.... Im sad :(

This week I did sell two prints from my Etsy shop. It made me so happy because I have not been very active there, always forgetting to add new things out there.
But now Im going to add new items in there as soon as I have made them :)

It would make me very happy if you would take a visit one day, just to see what I have there and maybe share my shop with your friends.

After sewing my doll, filling her up and adding the clay I painted her black, I found it a little strange but after adding other colors I saw how cool it looked.

Here you can see how se look, kind of like her face but Im going to make a new skirt, think it will look better if I make her wear skirt in bright colors.

If you missed my last post you can see it now because there Im showing the process of making the doll.

My ETSY shop

Have a wonderful weekend where ever you are and a happy PPF

Im making a doll..

I did pay for a doll making class some time ago but did never make one.
So I thought it was about time I would give it a try.
First I had to sew the body and fill it but turning the arms and legs inside out was a hard work, o my goodness... but I did it..

The class is with Gritty Jane at The Trodden Path and that is a good one.
I did make another doll once, it was in Life Book 2012 and that was also with Gritty Jane. Don´t know if I have a photo of that one. Ill look in my file.

After making the body I had to start making the face, that was not so difficult, Gritty is having a great video showing how to. Now I have to let her dry and tomorrow I can start painting her but I have to make her hair first.

Have a wonderful weekend all of you and a happy PPF
