Happyness is always an inside job

Now I have made 17 Lovely Ladies for my next exhibition and I have one on my desk waiting for me to sit down and finish her so that she can join the others, get a nice frame and be ready for the show... then I have made 28 Lovely ladies since Mars.

Im not sure if I can make more, have to continue with my Live Book, I´m so far behind there. And then I have to work on my little glimpses page, I have not started there yet.. But that is ok, only one more week at school and then 9 week of sommer holidays.. cant wait..

Now it is PPF again and now Im not going to be the last one.. hopefully Ill be among the 10 first..

Never stop blooming

I had to take one week without painting, I was to tired and painting over and over again. Now I have started again and I like the one Im working on now, hope I dont have to paint over that one. 

I made this blooming girl just before all the mess and just love her, there is something so soft about her.

Now Mistele, my favorite teacher is having a new class on Live Book and I cant wait to start trying out the new things she is teaching to us this week. 

I know Im late,,,, it´s monday... but Happy PPF to you all.

Love is like a butterfly...

Good morning everyone..

Yesterday I did finish two of my Lovely Ladies and that is one of them. 

This is my butterfly girl.

On the next photo I show you how I made her, she did have all kind of eyes before I was happy with her look.

It takes many hour to make a girl like this one. Background - dry, draw - be happy, thin paint - dry, outlines - dry, stamp - dry, more background work - dry, paint the face - dry, paint the hair - dry, fix the face - dry, fix the hair - dry, cut - glu, fix a little here and there - sleep on it, be happy - or start all over again.. 

Thats how life is if you are an artist.. ❤

Im so busy making my Lovely ladies, seven more and Im done...

Seven more and Im ready for my third Exhibition....this year..

Now I have thirteen Lovely ladys ready, seven more to paint and Ill be ready for my third Exhibition this year, not bad..

I kind of like this friend of mine. 

Before she had a blue curly hair and a green dress but I did not like her dress so I made her change. Then I did send her to the hairdresser to change the color of her hair and make it strait...

Im waiting for the school to finish, three more weeks.. I cant wait although I love my job..

This time of the year Im always tired and counting the days till the school bell ring for the last  time.

Now I´m very much behind with the Live Book, but I have the summer to catch up so I can follow the rest.

Love is in the air....

Please meet my new Lovely Lady. She has been on my desk for few days but tonight I did finish her. Before she had a green dress and a blue kurly wurly hair and I did not like her so I did put Gesso all over her and started over again. Now Im happy with her, love the colors and kind of like her wings...

Now I have 9 ready but I have to have 20 ready for my exhibition in june. Ill have to use all my spear time painting. Right now I have 4 on my desk half done...

To day I was hanging up my students work at the Library because on thursday children's Art festival will start so I had to keep their work to have something to show. I will add some photos here soon. 

You are amazing just the way you are

A restaurant owner has asked me if I would like to have exhibition in her restaurant after 4 weeks.. and I said yes of cours.. The Karma restaurant is a very nice restaurant with healthy  food here in my home town Keflavík. I do go there as often as I can because I like their food so much. 

This Lovely Lady is looking at a beautiful butterfly thinking how amazing it looks with its beautiful blue wings..

I can live without money... but..

I made this one earlier but I was not happy with her so I did chance her, cut her hair and added wings, now I like her much better..

Yesterday I was asked if I would like to have another exhibition in june in a great restaurant in my hometown... I was so happy.. Now I must continue painting, need to make at least 10 more in one month.. I can do that, I think.
