Have you heard about Folt Bolt?

Few days ago I did get a letter from the owner of the Folt Bolt page. 

I have always loved Folt Bolt, what a colorful page always featuring new artist and now she was inviting me to be featured on her page.

What an honor for me.

I love the poster she made, love my bright color paintings.

Makes me so happy to look at.

Inspired by India, inspired by Pinterest

The class for last week in the Soul Food class was to find a board on Pinterest and make a painting inspired by the photo you pinned from Pinterest. 

As Im in love with India and have been for 25 years I did choose to use photos I have already in one of my boards in Pinterest, My India.

I had to add the OM symbol to my painting so I did choose to add it to the mans bag. 

I love this symbol.

 Om Aum (or OM) is a mantra, or vibration, that is traditionally chanted at the beginning and end of yoga sessions. It is made up of three Sanskrit letters, aa, au and ma which, when combined together, make the sound Aum or Om. It is believed to be the basic sound of the world and to contain all other sounds.  It is said to be the sound of the universe. 

I love the colors of India, love this photo and wanted to use blue color to the door in my painting.

This photo is amazing, good job from the photographer. Look at all this colors, almost like the color wheel.

And finally I had to add this lady, carrying her water on her head, maybe a long way. 

Made me think how good my life is, so many things to be grateful for.
