purple + purple + yellow

This is my painting for this week, love these colors.
This is only a 10 minute painting, background, face and some pen stroke..
Not difficult at all..

By the way... Have you heard about Kelly Ray Roberts.
She is an amazing artist and she is having a fabulous
e-class called Hello Soul, Hello Mixed Media Mantra.
You can read all about it here and sign up if you feel like :)

Have a beautiful week

Namaste

  2. Nicely done. These colors have been giving me a hard time...I think I've got it now...although my one purple looks a little more pink than I'd like. :)

    1. Thank you Halle. Yellow and purple are opposite colors in the color wheel so they talk together.. :) I did start with a pink too... but then I remembered it was purple not pink :)

  10. I'm glad this was an easy week for you, because I had a really hard time with it. I simply KNEW from the beginning I would get mud, and I did. That meant I had to go a different route. What you made looks so lovely and natural, though.

I've heard of Kelly Rae Roberts. I even have a book where she's a guest artist. But since I'm not a painter or sketcher, I'll have to pass on that nearly $250 fee.

    1. Thank you for your nice comment, It is easy to make a mud if you mix together hot and cold colors.... I know Kelly´s class is expensive but totally wort it :)
