New paintings for Soul Food class hosted by Community Thrive

Lesson 7 in my Soul Food class was thought by Michelle Sylvia.

I really enjoyed her class where we worked a lot with the background.

I love working with backgrounds.

I used a lot of ink and my new Golden High Flow, I just love them.

First I made this girl, love how she turned out.

In her is written Follow your heart..

Then I made this one, she is different but I love her as well and the little bird sitting on her head.

In her hair is written She believed in kindness..

Made a little bird in paper clay..

On Friday night I did make a little beautiful bird.

I did make him out of foil and paper clay.

I love him, think he is so cute.

Im taking class at community thrive, called Soul Food and the teacher for this class was Heather Santos, she is so good with paper clay.

Doodling by the pool in Tenerife, Spaine

I was so happy having an opportunity to travel to Tenerife, Spain for a week two weeks ago.

When living in ice cold Iceland, you love it so much to stay in the sun for some time.

Loved sitting by the pool, doing nothing but enjoying live.

I had to create a little, bought me a journal, little box of water soluble pencils and black pen.

I did some sketches, colored them and then I had my water bottle and used my finger to bring the color to paint.

I love my Lovely Ladies, they all talk to me in their way.

I had a wonderful week.

February assignment for Mats

This is my assignment for February in my MATS class by Lilla Rogers.

It was so much fun painting on wood.

Now we don't have any assignment for Mars but that is ok, 

I have so many other classes Im so far behind with.

I did paint this one while practicing for the assignment. Love to use few colors in my painting.

And for my Soul Food 2015 class I did make this little Sigga Bee..

Having so much fun taking Lilla Rogers class Make art that sells

After drawing this lovely lady, coloring her in Ps I had to try to paint one... 

I love this gray, red, white colors together.

I have been making or decorating plates, this one was the easy one. 

Find it so crazy interesting to paint my drawings in Ps.

I made this one round but somewhere on the way i did cut my plate like this, have to find the round copy, sure I saved it somewhere.

One plate with pattern is a must do.. Love these colors.

Here I was thinking about Spoonflower competition.. 

This was my first drawing painted in Ps, not bad :)

The most beautiful crochet doll

I did finish this beauty last week.

Now I have made 3 Lalylala dolls all beautiful

but this one is my favorite I think.

It was a little bit difficult to sew the rose on her belly after finished 

but by little trick here and there I finished her.

Painting elephants..

Im taking a class with Wyanne Thompson, You and me.

I have learned to use Masking fluid with ink and watercolor.

I love those white lines..

This is my first try.

Cutting out the elephant from scrapbook paper and painting with ink.

This is my second one.

I did use tape where there is a blue color in the grass.. I was going to paint the elephants pink but without thinking i did paint them gray...

Making this one I did use watercolor.

The last one I did paint on canvas or spray with ink.

Now I did paint my elephant pink and I did some decoration with a poca pen.

Done with my January project for MATS

This was not easy..

or it was easy to draw but I want so much to know how to use Ps and Ai

Most of the people taking part in Make art that sells are so good in with their computers and are making such a great artwork, hopefully I will be able to make art in my computer one day :)

These are my sketches, like them a lot and would have been happy if I have had the knowledge to bring them to Photoshop to make a pretty pattern.

Im trying to learn, have spent so many hours on my computer. 

These I did draw in Ps, like them but not enough to use them..

So I did draw my brooches on a 300 gr hot pressed watercolor paper and painted with watercolors.

what do you think?

I wanted to try to paint the background in Ps but It did not work so I had to submit with out background color.

New art challange on a new year

I love to sign up for art challenge.

This year I did sign up for Lilla Rogers Bootcamp.

I little expensive but as a former student I did get 50% of so I could not say no..

First week in the month we get a mini project, the second week we get the challenge of the month and then we have two weeks to finish our challenge.

The first mini was to draw Edwardian Brooches.

I have never done anything like that before so it was a challenge for me.

I enjoyed making few pages, this is a little doodle and I love to doodle so I was having fun. 

I did use a watercolor to color it, I might try other kind of colors too.

Soon I hope to be able to color things like that in Photoshop.

Just a few words..

Now it is Christmas time so Im framing some paintings I might give away to someone I love.

Last week I did a little doodling, I love to doodle, find it so relaxing. 

So happy with my Mandala.

Before I made this little lady out of paper clay. And I had to make something out of her so I did paint her a dress and make her legs. To morrow Im going to paint her shoes and hang her to one of my walls to enjoy looking at her :)

DIY Christmas Fun for Hues n Shades

I was asked to make a Christmas ornament or some kind of do it yourself for x-mas.

I decided to show how to make a line with clips for Christmas cards.

What you need is wooden laundry clips, some kind of string (about 1.5 to 2 meters) acrylic paint, read, white, black, green and yellow. White glitter if you want. 

First I take few wooden laundry clips, about 20 pieces.

First I  take the half of the clips and start with red color, paint Santa´s jacket and Santa´s cap

then I make his beard and the fur edge of his cap with white color and the dusk too.

Next is to paint his face with skin tone.

Next step is to paint the other half of the clips green.

I do add red and yellow dots for lights and then I paint a yellow star on top of the clips

Next step is to paint dots for eye and nose and add a little red color for mouth in the beard.

Then I add a little glitter on the white color of Santa´s cap.

and this is how I hang my Christmas cards. 

This is the one I have. I do add this string between two nails on the wall (1 to 1.5 cm between) and hang all my Christmas cards one in each clips. This makes a beautiful Christmas decoration.

Sorry I don´t have picture of it hanging on my wall to show you but I hope this will do.

When I start I cant stop....

So many times when I start painting I cant stop. 
I paint one and then another and so on using the same color in every painting.

Now Im in love with this beautiful color Quinacridone Magnenta from Golden.

First I did a girl from India in a saree with a little singing bird on her sholder.

Then I did another girl with feather in her hair and a little bird on her shoulder too.

I have made another girl but that is an angel, Ill post a photo of her soon.
